Nicely Polished Extinct White Shark Tooth
Stock Number  STSCM10

Name:   Carcharocles megalodon
Age:  Miocene
Formation:  River Deposits
Location:  South Carolina
Size:  Tooth is 4.1 inches long

This is a displayable Extinct White shark tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The root of the tooth is very nice and robust. The serrations are extremely fine. The tooth has an excellent tip. The middle part of the tooth has been polished for a better display. The other side of the tooth is great - both sides display very well. This is a very "showy" example of a large fossil shark tooth from the river deposits of South Carolina.
