This is a very sharp Extinct White Shark (Carcharocles megalodon) tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. This Meg tooth is very robust and has the classic ''arrowhead'' shape intact. The beautiful enamel is natural and very well preserved. The serrations are extremely sharp and very easily seen, and the very tip of the tooth is still intact and well displayed. The large root of the tooth is also beautifully preserved. The other side of the tooth is also very nice - both sides display extremely well. This is a very detailed Meg tooth with striking natural color preserved, from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
