This is a very fine Extinct White Shark (Carcharocles megalodon) tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The Meg tooth is very detailed and has the classic ''arrowhead'' shape intact. The sharp serrations are easily seen, and the tip is intact and pointed. The back side of the tooth is also nice - both sides display very well. This is a beautiful fossil Meg tooth from South Carolina.
