This is a fabulous fossil Hemipristus Shark tooth. This is a killer Hemipristus serra tooth from Bone Valley, Florida. This tooth has the classic "Bone Valley" coloration - blue-black with a white root. This type of shark is called the ''Snaggletooth Shark'', for obvious reasons. The large tooth has a very solid, white root, the colorful enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip and serrations of the tooth are extremely sharp. Both sides of the tooth display very well. And the tooth is over an inch and a half long! This is a collectible example of a large Bone Valley Hemipristis tooth - quite impressive!
