Cool Bone Valley Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Stock Number  STFCMX20
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Age:  Pliocene
Formation:  Bone Valley Formation
Location:  Bone Valley, Florida
Size:  Tooth is 2.8 inches long.

Here is a nice Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Pliocene of Florida. Megalodon teeth from Bone Valley are becoming extremely difficult to obtain. This tooth has a very nice form. The serrations of the tooth are present, and the very tip of the tooth is slightly rounded from use. This tooth exhibits classic feeding damage on the left side. The shiny enamel of the tooth is well preserved, and the grey color contrasts wonderfully with the off-white root, making for a nice display. This is a fine Megalodon shark tooth from Bone Valley, Florida.
