This is a very good Extinct White Shark (Carcharocles megalodon) tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The Meg tooth is very robust and has the unique shape fully intact. The beautiful grey-blue enamel is natural and very well preserved. The serrations are present, and the root is quite substantial. The other side of the tooth is also nice - both sides display very well. This is a nice-looking Meg tooth with beautiful enamel preserved.
