This is a nice collection of unusual shark teeth. These are Ptychodus teeth from the Cretaceous of Texas. These fossils were acquired from the famous Chance Collection. Ptychodus was a classic hybodontoform shark. These teeth are quite large and very distinct. There are many, MANY teeth included in the glass-covered display frame. This is a very cool collection of Cretaceous-age shark teeth from Texas. (Comes with Dr. Chance's original reference photo and ID notes.)
