Two Fine Fossil Great White Teeth from Peru
Stock Number  STFGW702
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Carcharodon carcharias Teeth
Age:  Pliocene
Formation:  Pisco Formation
Location:  Sacaco, Peru
Size:  Larger tooth is 1.7 inches long

This is a very nice pair of fossilized Great White Shark teeth. These are distinct Carcharodon carcharias teeth from the Pliocene of PERU. This species is the same type as today's modern Great White Shark. These specimens were acquired from the famous Chance Collection. Both teeth are very well preserved and exhibit very fine detail. The roost of the teeth are quite solid and robus, the tiny tips of the teeth are easily seen, and the large, sharp serrations are still intact. The enamel has gorgeous, natural coloration, and the back side of the teeth display as well as the front. This is an excellent pair of Peruvian Great White Shark teeth direct from a major fossil collection.
