This is a fabulous fossil Mako Shark tooth. This is a killer Isurus hastalis tooth from Bone Valley, Florida. This tooth has the classic "Bone Valley" coloration - blue-black with a white root. The large tooth has a very solid, white root, the colorful enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip and serrations of the tooth are extremely sharp. Both sides of the tooth display very well. This is a collectible example of a large Bone Valley Hemipristis tooth - quite impressive!
