Stock Number  STFCM803
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Age:  Pliocene
Formation:  Bone Valley Formation
Location:  Bone Valley, Florida
Size:  Tooth is almost 2.6 inches long

Here is a colorful Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Pliocene of Florida. Megalodon teeth from Bone Valley are becoming extremely difficult to obtain. This tooth has a very solid root. The serrations of the tooth are present but worn, and the very tip of the tooth is rounded from use. The shiny enamel of the tooth is well preserved, and the white "lightning streaks" are fully natural, making for a stunning display. This is a nice Megalodon shark tooth from Bone Valley, Florida.
