Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a colorful Carcharocles megalodon from the Miocene River Deposits. This distinct tooth has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. The serrations are worn but present, and the tip is also worn but somewhat pointed. This is a very affordable specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
