Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a distinct Carcharocles megalodon Tooth from the Miocene River Deposits. This colorful tooth has a very solid, substantial root, and the serrations are easily seen on both sides of the tooth. This tooth has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. This is a very nice specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
