Now this is a striking fossil shark tooth! It is a very large Megalodon Shark Tooth from the Extinct White Shark, Carcharocles megalodon. This specimen was recently acquired from the Richard Busch Collection. Busch was the Preparator/Asst. Curator at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA from 1965-1992. This striking tooth has colorful chrysocolla polished into the center of the tooth, giving it a rich blue-green color. The black and olive-colored enamel on the rest of the tooth complements the chrysacolla to make for a very beautiful tooth. But the beauty does not end there! The tooth is huge - OVER FIVE AND A HALF INCHES LONG! And the back side of the tooth is also extremely complete and very impressive. This is a top notch display Meg tooth for a collection or conversation piece. Another fine offering from the famous Busch Collection.
