Here is a very nice Mako Shark tooth. This is an Isurus hastalis tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This very fine tooth is quite long and has a very solid root. The enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip of the tooth is sharp and nicely showcased. Both sides of the tooth display well. This is an excellent example of a fossil Mako tooth from the Southern Hemisphere.
