This is a very distinct fossil Mako Shark tooth. This is an Isurus hastalis tooth from Bone Valley, Florida. This tooth is quite colorful and has a very solid, white root. The smooth enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip of the tooth is nicely showcased. Both sides of the tooth display well. This is a very fine example of a fossil Mako tooth from this classic shark tooth locality.
