Here is a very large fossil Mako Shark tooth. This is an Isurus hastalis tooth from Venice, Florida. This tooth is quite long and has a very solid root. The colorful enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip of the tooth is nicely showcased. Both sides of the tooth display well. This is a very large example of a fossil Mako tooth from this classic shark tooth locality.
