This is a very nice pair of Fossil Tiger Shark Teeth from Venice, Florida. The larger tooth is a Galeocerdo aduncus, while the other is a Galeocerdo cuveri. Both teeth are complete - even the substantial roots of the teeth are intact. The teeth have sharp serrations, which helps in cutting and shredding its prey. The teeth show almost no wear on the serrations or tips. This is a very impressive pair of teeth from two different species of ancient Tiger Sharks from Florida.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
