Large Hemipristis Tooth with Great Serrations

Size:  Tooth is 1.5 inches long

This is a very distinct fossil shark tooth. It is a large Hemipristis serra (Snaggletooth Shark) tooth from South Carolina. This specimen was acquired from an old collection. This tooth is large and is very solid and substantial. The enamel is beautifully preserved and has great natural coloration. Both sides of the tooth display well, and the serrations are very easily seen. This is an excellent fossil Hemipristis tooth from the Palmetto State.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
