Here is a very nice Mako Shark tooth. This is an Isurus hastalis tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This very fine tooth is quite long and has a very solid root. The enamel is beautifully preserved, and the tip of the tooth is sharp and nicely showcased. There is a small amount of matrix on the other side of the tooth. This is an excellent example of a fossil Mako tooth from the Southern Hemisphere.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
