Here is a very nice Mako Shark tooth. This is an Isurus hastalis tooth from the Pliocene of Aurora, North Carolina. This tooth is quite long and has a very solid root. The enamel is beautifully preserved, and the color of the tooth is nicely showcased. Both sides of the tooth display well. This is a very fine example of a fossil Mako tooth from this classic shark tooth locality.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
