This is a rare fossil shark tooth. It is a Hexanchus tooth from Chile. The type of shark this tooth came from is called a Cow Shark. This specimen is large and has great enamel. The root of the tooth is still encased in rock. This is an excellent example of this very uncommon Cow Shark tooth from Chile.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
