Otodus obliquus Teeth
Age: Eocene
Formation: Phosphate Beds
Location: Khouribga Basin, Morocco
Size: Plate is 7.3 inches diagonal
This is a beautiful display plate of shark teeth. There are EIGHT specimens of Otodus obliquus on the plate. The shark teeth are natural - no compositing has been done to the specimen. The teeth are very nice - the edges of the teeth are very sharp and distinct, they have great enamel, and the small cusps on the sides of the teeth are present on many of the teeth. The teeth have nice color and contrast and are well positioned on the large, natural plate of matrix. This is a very displayable specimen of extinct mackerel shark teeth from Morocco.
