This is a very large (over five and a half inches long!) Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene River Deposits of South Carolina. The huge root of this tooth is very solid and substantial. The tooth has great color - fully natural. The distinct serrations are sharp and easily seen. The other side of the tooth also displays well. This is a very large, impressive tooth from this ancient version of ''Jaws''.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
