Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a large Carcharocles megalodon from the Miocene River Deposits. This colorful tooth has a very solid, substantial root, and the sharp serrations are easily seen on both sides of the tooth. This tooth has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. And at over four and a half inches long, it is an impressive fossil tooth. This is a very collectible specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
