Very Nice Meg Tooth with Great Natural Color
Stock Number  STSCM190
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Age:  Miocene
Formation:  River Deposits
Location:  South Carolina
Size:  Tooth is 4.1 inches long

This is a very colorful Extinct White Shark (Carcharocles megalodon) tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The distinct ''Meg'' tooth is very robust and has the classic ''arrowhead'' shape fully intact. The enamel is natural and well preserved (the shiny spots are only on the scan, not the tooth). The large serrations are razor-sharp, and the tip is also sharp and pointed. The root is quite robust, and the other side of the tooth is also nice - both sides look great. This is a very displayable, sharp Meg tooth from South Carolina.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
