Here is a rare tooth from the first true White Shark. This is a beautiful Paleocarcharodon orientalis tooth from the Paleocene of Morocco. The razor-sharp serrations are clearly defined and the very tip of the tooth is pointed and in excellent condition. The root is robust and wonderfully preserved. The orange-brown enamel of the tooth is also quite striking. This is a very impressive example of this ''showy'' fossil shark tooth.
