Very Large, Polished Megalodon Tooth

Size:  Tooth is 5.7 inches long

This is a very large (almost SIX inches long!) Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The root of the tooth is very large and robust. The middle part of the tooth has been polished for optimal display. The tooth displays the classic ''arrowhead'' shape very well. This is a distinct example of a very large fossil shark tooth from South Carolina.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
