Large South Carolina Mako Shark Tooth

This is a very large fossil Mako tooth. It is an Isurus sp. tooth from South Carolina. This specimen was acquired from a major shark collection. The tooth is large for a Mako - almost three inches long! The tooth has great enamel preserved and wonderful natural coloration. This is a very collectible tooth from a very large, ancient Mako shark.
