Here is a fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a colorful Carcharocles megalodon from the Miocene River Deposits. This distinct tooth has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. The serrations are extremely sharp, and the tip is also pointed and quite sharp. And at over four inches long, it is an impressive fossil tooth. This is a very displayable specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''.
