This is an unusual fossil shark tooth. It is a pathological Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. The central blade of the tooth has is split, and both sections are fully separate, giving the tooth two pointed tips. This unique feature is a very rare occurrence in the fossil record. And the fact that both blades are NOT of equal length and symmetrical gives the fossil character. This is a highly collectible shark tooth that is distinctly pathological.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
