This is a large Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The root is very solid and somewhat pitted. The enamel is very colorful and nicely preserved. The overall look of the tooth displays the classic arrowhead shape. This is a good, large tooth from an extinct Great White shark.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
