Striking Black Megalodon Tooth from South Carolina

Here is a nice Meg shark tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The tooth has a very solid, substantial root. The enamel of the tooth has unusual black coloration. The serrations are worn, but present. The tip of the tooth is nicely intact. The large tooth has been polished and displays very well. This is a fine fossil shark tooth from the River Deposits of South Carolina.
