Here is a very fine fossil shark tooth from South Carolina. This is a fabulous Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene River Deposits. This colorful tooth has a very solid, substantial root, and the razor sharp serrations are easily seen on both sides of the tooth. This tooth also has great natural color and is very thick and 3-dimensional. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the robust tooth. This is a very collectible specimen of a fossilized shark tooth from the ancient version of ''Jaws''. (White streaks on the tooth are in the photo, not on the tooth.)
