Here is an uncommon tooth from the first true White Shark. This is a large Paleocarcharodon orientalis tooth from the Paleocene of Morocco. The distinct serrations are clearly defined, and the root of the tooth is in fine condition. The enamel is wonderfully preserved - the natural blond coloration of the tooth is quite striking. This is a nice example of this impressive fossil shark tooth.
