This is a very large fossil Mako tooth. It is a striking Isurus sp. tooth from Chile. This specimen is quite large for a Mako - over two and a third inches long! The tooth has a substantial root, and the enamel has beautiful natural coloration preserved. The distinct tooth also displays beautifully on the back side. This is a very collectible Mako tooth from the Southern Hemisphere.
