This is a striking Carcharocles megalodon tooth from South Carolina. This specimen was found in a land deposit, not the more common river deposits of South Carolina. This beautiful tooth has a very solid and substantial root. The serrations of the tooth are intact, and the tooth still retains its arrowhead-like shape. The wonderful blond coloration is very appealing and fully natural. And, at well over five inches in length, the tooth makes for an impressive display! This is a very colorful ''classic'' shark tooth from the Land Deposits of South Carolina.
