This is a very nice Great White Shark tooth. This specimen is from the Modern Great White Shark, Carcharodon carcharias. This is the infamous shark that terrorizes swimmers every year, and is immortalized in the movie, ''Jaws''. This tooth is an upper, having the classic triangular shape. The serrations and tip are razor-sharp and perfectly intact. The root is complete and amazingly robust. This is a wonderful example of a large Modern Great White Shark tooth.
