This is a huge fossil Mako tooth. It is a very large Isurus sp. tooth from Chile. This specimen is simply huge for a Mako - over two and three quarters inches long! The tooth has a substantial root, and the enamel has beautiful natural coloration preserved. The distinct tooth also displays beautifully on the back side. This is a very collectible Mako tooth from the Southern Hemisphere.
