This is a large Great White Shark tooth. It is from the Modern Great White Shark, Carcharodon carcharias. This is the infamous shark that terrorizes swimmers every year, and is immortalized in the movie, ''Jaws''. This tooth is a lower, having the classic thin, pointed shape. The serrations and tip are razor-sharp and perfectly intact. The root is complete and amazingly robust. This is a fabulous, large example of a large Modern Great White Shark tooth.
