Here is a wonderful fossil shark tooth. This is an Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. This tooth is totally free of matrix and both sides display beautifully. The root of the tooth is large and robust. The tooth has beautiful, caramel-colored enamel preserved, and both large cusps are fully intact. The tooth is extremely sharp and impressive. This is a very displayable example of this Extinct Mackerel Shark tooth.
