This is a huge fossil Mako tooth. It is a very large Isurus sp. tooth from Chile. This specimen is simply huge for a Mako - almost two and three quarters inches long! The enamel has beautiful natural coloration preserved. The tooth also displays beautifully on the back side. This is a very collectible Mako tooth from the Southern Hemisphere.
