This is a very pretty Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. This tooth has a very solid and substantial root. The serrations along the sides of the tooth are clearly defined, and the tip of the tooth shows some natural wear. The glossy enamel is beautifully displayed on both sides of the tooth. This is a very attractive shark tooth from the river deposits of South Carolina.
