Name:
Carcharocles megalodon Tooth
Age: Miocene
Formation: River Deposits
Location: South Carolina
Size: Tooth is about 3 inches long
This is a nice Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene of South Carolina. The root is quite solid and nicely displayed. The serrations of the tooth are somewhat worn, but evident, and the tip of the tooth exhibits some natural wear. The shiny enamel is well preserved on both sides of the tooth and has nice, natural color. This is a very affordable tooth from an extinct Giant White Shark.
