This is a beautiful fossilized Great White Shark tooth. It is a Carcharodon carcharias tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This species is the same type as today's modern Great White Shark. This HUGE specimen is wonderfully preserved and exhibits very fine detail. The root of the tooth is very solid and robust. The tiny tip of the tooth is intact, and the sharp serrations are wonderfully displayed. The enamel has beautiful natural peach coloration, and both sides of the tooth are very ''sleek''. This is a fabulous example of a Great White Shark tooth fossil from South America.
