This is an excellent Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Miocene deposits of South Carolina. This tooth is quite hefty and very robust. The root is very solid and substantial, and the shiny enamel is beautifully preserved on both sides of the tooth. The sharp serrations are clearly defined, and the very tip of the tooth is near perfect. The tooth has outstanding, natural color, and both sides display wonderfully. This is an outstanding example of an Extinct White Shark Tooth.
