This is an excellent Great White Shark tooth. It is a Carcharodon carcharias tooth from the Miocene of Chile. This species is the same type as today's modern Great White Shark. This large specimen is wonderfully preserved and exhibits fine detail. The root of the tooth is very solid and robust. The tiny tip of the tooth is intact, and the sharp serrations are beautifully displayed. It has wonderful natural color, and both sides of the tooth are very ''clean''. This is a wonderful example of a "true" Great White Shark tooth from South America.
