Excellent Mako Tooth From North Carolina

Location:  Lee Creek Mine, Aurora, North Carolina
Size:  Tooth is 2.1 inches long

This is an excellent Isurus sp. from the famous Lee Creek Mine of North Carolina. This tooth has a very solid and substantial root. The edges of the tooth are quite sharp, and the enamel is beautifully preserved and has great color. Both sides of the tooth display nicely. This is a wonderful Mako Shark tooth from the Pliocene.
