Here is an outstanding fossil shark tooth. This is a beautiful Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. This tooth is complete and quite large for this type. The root of the tooth is extremely robust and nearly perfect. The tooth has great enamel and the tip of the tooth is quite sharp. Both cusps on each side of the tooth are intact and prominently displayed. The natural coloration of the tooth is very striking. Both sides of the tooth are very ''clean'' and well preserved. This is a museum quality example of this Extinct Mackerel Shark tooth.
