Recent Shark Tooth With Great Serrations
Stock Number  STWS04

Name:   Whitetip Shark Tooth
Age:  Recent
Location:  Indian Ocean
Size:  Tooth is a little more than 1 inch long

Here is a very fine example of a recent shark tooth. This tooth is from the Whitetip Shark which lives in the Indian Ocean. The tooth is complete - even the substantial root of the tooth is intact. This tooth has serrations similar to a Great White tooth. The tooth shows very little wear - the extremely sharp serrations are beautifully displayed and the very tip of the tooth is near perfect. The wide tooth has an interesting shape and the natural white color is quite attractive. This is a superb specimen of a modern-day carniverous shark tooth.
