This is a very impressive Great White Shark tooth. It is from the modern Great White Shark, Carcharodon carcharias. This is the famous shark that terrorizes swimmers every year, and is immortalized in the movie, "Jaws". This tooth is an upper, having the classic triangular shape. The serrations and tip are razor-sharp and perfectly intact. The root is complete and robust. This is an extra-fine example of a modern Great White Shark tooth.
